Trapezoidal Ball Nuts

The wide stock range of trapezoidal ball nuts offers:

  • Ready-to-install-bronze nut EFM

    Trapezoidal ball nut with flange, convertible to ball screw nuts of the KGF-N series. Go with pivot adapters (KAR) and adaptor brackets (KON). For movement drives with good running characteristics. Material: 2.1090/G-CUSn7ZnPb (RG7). Other materials on request.

  • Long red brass nut (LRM)

    Cylindrical trapezoidal nut with large outside-diameter. Suitable for further processing and adaption to existing constructions. For example with cut surfaces or additional fastening bores. 

    For movement drives with good running characteristics. Material: 2.1090/G-CUSn7ZnPb (RG7). Other materials on request.

  • Short steel nut blank (KSM)

    To be used as clamping nut or for static applications. Suitable for further processing and adaption to existing constructions. For example with cut surfaces or additional fastening bores. Material: 1.0718/9Smn28K (cutting steel). Other materials on request.

  • Steel nut, hexagonal (SKM)

    Usable as a simple adjusting nut or as emergency adjustment when welded to the thread. Material: 1.0718/9Smn28K (cutting steel). Other materials on request.

  • Safety trap nut (SFM)

    Suitable for safety-related applications or to limit economic damages in case of nut abrasion. SFM for VBG 14 or VBG 70 requirements on enquiry. 

  • Long plastic nut blank LKM

    Cylindric trapezoidal nut with large outside diameter. Suitable for further processing and adaption to existing constructions. For example with cut surfaces or additional fastening bores. For movement drives with very good running characteristics. Material: PETP. Other materials on request.

Ready-to-install Red Bronze Flange Nnut (TGM-EFM)

For movement drives with particularly favourable wear characteristics. EFMs can be mounted using the joints KON, KKA, MAFN and KAR. material: 2.1090 (CuSn7Zn4Pb7; RG7)

Ready-to-install Plastic Nut (TGM-EKM)

In combination with the rolled trapezoidal threads of high surface quality, the ready-to-install plastic nuts are often an alternative to conventional materials. Particularly low-noise and in many cases lubrication-free, plastic opens up completely new areas of application. material: ZEDEX 100 (ZX-100K)

Long Red Brass Nut (TGM-LRM)

Thanks to the material used, the long red bronze nut TGM-LRM is characterised by particularly low wear. The major diameters are generously dimensioned for individual further processing. material: 2.1090 (CuSn7Zn4Pb7; RG7)

Long Plastic Nut (TGM-LKM)

In combination with the rolled trapezoidal screws of high surface quality, the ready-to-install plastic nuts are often an alternative to conventional materials. Particularly low-noise and in many cases lubrication-free, plastic opens up completely new areas of application. Short Steel Nut (TGM-KSM)

Steel nuts are mainly suitable for clamping operations, adjusting movements in manual operation and as fastening nuts. The short steel nut has a large major diameter, which provides space for individual adjustments. material: 1.0718 (11SMnPb30)

Steel nuts are suitable for clamping procedures, adjusting movements in manual operations and as fixing nuts. material: 1.0718 (11SMnPb30)

Safety Nut (TGM-SZ/SF)

Safety nuts are used to protect people and to prevent costly machine damage. It is about a second, load-free nut which is permanently coupled with the actual support nut and a distance X. With increasing wear of the support nut, the distance X to the safety nut decreases accordingly. In the case of direct danger to people, e.g. on lifting platforms, certain regulations must be observed in accordance with EN 280, EN 1493, EN 1570, EN 1756 (formerly VBG 14), among others. This is when the long safety nuts are used. When using long safety nuts, wear monitoring can be carried out by means of an electrical limit switch. material: 2.1090 (CuSn7Zn4Pb7; RG7)

Travelling Nut with trunnion (TGM-LMS)

This travelling nut allows gimbal mounting and can therefore compensate for misalignment in the spindle bearing. material: 2.1090 (CuSn7Zn4Pb7; RG7)

Travelling Nut with spanner flat (TGM-LSF)

This type of travelling nut with machined surfaces enables positivelocking torque transmission, e.g. when installed in grooves or profiles. These solutions are often characterised by low design complexity. material: 2.1090 (CuSn7Zn4Pb7; RG7)

Travelling Nut with spherical contact surface (TGM-LSA)

This travelling nut is characterised by a spherical contact surface. With the matching concave bearing washer, the nut unit is able to compensate for misalignment thanks to its deflection abilities. material: 2.1090 (CuSn7Zn4Pb7; RG7)
